Usage:
We recommend to switch on the UV-C sterilizer for 24hours and change to new lamp after 6-8months. Please do not view the UV-C light or place in UV-C lamp into the main pond, as it extremely harmful to human and fishes. It should be place in the filter compartment and covered. KINGRATE Submersible UV-C Lamp H Series for Ponds and Large Tanks
This high-output KINGRATE UV-C lamp in the 61-74cm, 55W-75W range is built for the big jobs: koi ponds, garden ponds and large tanks that battle green water and suspended bacteria. As water passes the quartz-sleeved UV-C tube, free-floating algae and microbes are knocked out, which is why a properly sized clarifier can turn pea-soup water clear within days. Being submersible, it tucks into a sump or pond rather than needing an external inline housing.
In Singapore, outdoor ponds get intense year-round sun that drives relentless green-water blooms, so a strong UV-C unit like this earns its keep. Match the wattage to your water volume and turnover for real results, and run it on your circulation pump so treated water keeps cycling. Replace the UV-C tube roughly yearly even if it still glows, since output decays well before the lamp dies, and shut it off during medication or beneficial-bacteria dosing.
