Both work. You can book a single one-time session whenever your tank needs attention, or set up a subscription for regular visits at a lower effective rate. There’s no obligation to subscribe to book your first visit.
Enter your tank’s length, width and height in centimetres and the page shows an instant per-session price based on your water volume. Larger tanks sit in higher price bands; tanks over roughly 550 litres get an individual custom quote. Every price shown is per session.
Each session includes a partial water change sized to your tank and stock, an aquascape trim and tidy, substrate and glass cleaning, a full water-quality test (pH, GH, KH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) and a livestock health check with advice. Filter media is rinsed or cleaned at least monthly, and you get support between visits.
No. New consumables such as food, filter media, medications and water conditioners are charged only as they’re used, and any equipment parts are billed separately. We’ll always flag what’s needed and advise before anything is added.
The same named technician every time, not a rotating crew. Standard sessions are handled by Kay Sen, our maintenance technician; for prized or demanding setups, our Premium tier brings Eugene, Gensou’s founder and lead technician with 20 years’ experience.
Yes. While your maintenance subscription is active, you automatically get 5% off every product in the Gensou store — plants, livestock, equipment and consumables. Subscription plans unlock further savings too, such as 20% off on the bi-weekly plan, annual and prepay options, and a free 11th session after every 10 completed visits.
We serve aquarium owners across Singapore. Once you send your details on WhatsApp, Yumi will confirm your location is covered before anything is scheduled.
