Lilliphut Algae Scraper (M) for Everyday Tank Cleaning

The medium Lilliphut scraper suits the nano and mid-size glass tanks most common in Singapore homes, giving you enough reach for a 45-60cm tank without an oversized handle to wrestle in a tight cabinet. It comes with three interchangeable attachments on one ergonomic grip, so a single tool covers soft film with a pad and shifts to the metal blade for hardened spots. As with all metal scrapers, keep it to glass tanks only and never use it on acrylic.

Our warm, well-lit rooms make a little green-spot algae on the front pane part of normal tank life, and a scraper clears the hard stuff a sponge simply can’t. Work the blade flat against the glass and steer clear of the silicone corners so you don’t catch the sealant. Rinse and dry the attachments after each session to keep the metal edge from corroding over time.
