Odyssea EVO 48″ (Plant Spectrum): Lighting a 4-Foot Planted Tank
The EVO 48 runs a plant-oriented mix of 10000K and 6700K diodes at 3 watts each, spanning a 4-foot tank and pushing real output for growth rather than just show. That warmer 6700K component lifts the greens and reds in planted layouts, making a Singapore aquascape look lush rather than washed-out blue. The extendable brackets and lightweight build suit the larger display tanks common in landed homes and bigger condo units.
With this much light over a 4-foot tank you are firmly in medium-to-high territory, which in our warm water means you should pair it with CO2 and a sensible fertiliser routine, or stick to hardy plants, to avoid feeding algae. The optional fan is worth fitting since the fixture warms up in our climate. Above all, run it on a timer: a consistent, not excessive, photoperiod is the foundation of a clean planted tank here.
