These OWA glass cylinders run from the slim G8H at 8.5x20cm up to the G15H at 15x25cm, giving you a tidy ladder of sizes for tabletop projects. The clear glass and upright form make them well suited to single-specimen displays, emersed plant arrangements, wabi-kusa, or simple decorative vases. Smaller cylinders are a favourite for SG keepers wanting a touch of greenery on a work desk or shelf without committing to a full filtered aquarium and its footprint.
As open, unfiltered vessels these cylinders work best with minimal livestock and a focus on plants. The tall, narrow profile limits surface area for gas exchange, so resist overstocking. In Singapore’s warm 27-29C ambient and high humidity, expect steady evaporation in an open cylinder, so top up with dechlorinated water to keep levels and parameters stable. A wash before first use removes any haze left from manufacturing.
