How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

The Sunset Gold Platy for warm-toned tanks

The Sunset Gold Platy glows in graduated orange-to-gold tones that catch the light beautifully under warm LED lighting, making it a favourite for keepers wanting a bright, sunny community tank. It shares all the easygoing traits of the platy family: peaceful, hardy and perfectly suited to Singapore’s ambient 27-29C, so most indoor setups run heater-free. We find a small shoal of these among green plants creates instant warmth and movement that suits both planted and decorated aquariums.

For the deepest colour, feed a varied diet with colour-enhancing flake, micro-pellets and occasional frozen or vegetable foods, and keep nitrate low with regular water changes. Our soft, slightly-acidic chloraminated tap should be conditioned and lightly buffered toward neutral-to-alkaline, which platies prefer. They breed readily as livebearers, so add floating cover for fry, keep a female-biased group, and avoid boisterous tank mates that might outcompete them at feeding time.
