SUDO RX-197 Decoration Cave (XXL) for Big Display Tanks

The RX-197 is the biggest cave in SUDO’s range, and we reserve our recommendation for the larger display tanks Singapore enthusiasts build into living rooms and shop fronts. At roughly 260 by 290mm it functions as a true rockwork feature, deep enough for adult plecos, large cichlids or a sizeable catfish to shelter inside completely. The inert moulded material holds steady in our soft, slightly acidic tap water without affecting parameters.

Our tanks run warm at 27-29C year round, where big fish are bold and fiercely territorial, so a cave this size genuinely lowers conflict by giving a dominant individual its own claimed space. The cavernous shaded interior suits secretive nocturnal species that otherwise hide behind equipment all day. Because it stays hollow, even at this scale it lifts out for cleaning without you having to drain or rebuild the layout.
