Ludwigia Dark Orange (TC Cup) for SG Background Colour

We offer Ludwigia Dark Orange in tissue-culture cups, a warm-toned stem that ranges from amber to deep orange-red under strong light. The TC format ships clean and pest-free, ideal for shrimp tanks and nano scapes where we want no hitchhiking snails. In Singapore’s warm 27-29C tanks it grows submerged without a chiller, and the intensity of the orange depends heavily on light and lean nitrogen, so bright illumination is the main lever for vivid colour.

Plant the small portions a few centimetres apart so light penetrates the lower leaves, and trim and replant the tops to thicken the stand into a colourful backdrop. CO2 and iron-focused dosing sharpen the tones further. Our chloraminated tap water suits it once dechlorinated. As tissue-culture stock grown emersed, it usually drops a few leaves and reshapes during its first weeks underwater before settling into its true submerged form.
