Biorept W Floating Sticks for Singapore Turtles
Biorept W is a floating-stick staple for everyday feeding of omnivorous and carnivorous aquatic and semi-aquatic turtles. The floating format is genuinely practical: turtles surface to feed, so you can watch them eat, gauge appetite and scoop up anything left behind with a net before it sinks and fouls the tank. The mix of Hermetia larvae and Gammarus brings protein, chitin and useful fatty acids.
Turtles are heavy waste producers, and in Singapore’s warm 27-29C water uneaten sticks break down fast, so disciplined feeding matters more than with most fish. Offer small portions a few times a day for young turtles or less often for adults, then remove the redundant sticks rather than leaving them to cloud the water. Pair feeding with strong mechanical filtration and frequent water changes.
Round out the diet with greens and variety rather than sticks alone. Our turtle tank filtration guide helps handle the waste load, and the turtle tank setup guide covers basking and layout for SG homes. See the full turtle and reptile range for more options.
