Twinstar III S Series LED for High-Tech Scapes
The S Series is Twinstar’s top tier, sitting above both the E and B lines, and it is the fixture serious aquascapers reach for. It is known for genuinely vivid colour rendering and high luminance, the kind of output that brings a contest-grade scape and its fish to life. If you are running demanding carpets, dense red stems and a fully high-tech layout, this is the light built to support it.
With output this strong, balance becomes everything in our climate. We always pair an S Series with CO2 and a careful photoperiod, because intense light on its own in warm 27-29C water will favour algae long before it favours plants. Start at a reduced intensity, lengthen the photoperiod gradually as the scape matures, and let plants tell you when to push harder. Its slim over-tank profile and LED efficiency keep heat manageable even in warm, humid HDB rooms.
