UP AQUA PRO-LED-ZX-P-50 Plant LED for 150cm Tanks
This is the plant-spectrum unit in UP’s PRO ZX-P range, sized for a 150cm tank and tuned around a 5500-6000K colour temperature aimed at strong photosynthetically useful light. The multi-spectrum mix is built to push plant growth while still rendering fish colours vividly, so a big planted display reads bright and natural rather than washed out. For larger aquascapes, a fixture matched to the tank’s length is what gives you even coverage corner to corner.
With light at this level, plan supporting elements: a nutrient-rich substrate, regular dosing and, for demanding carpets and stems, CO2 injection. In our 27-29C tanks higher light without those inputs simply feeds algae, so balance is everything. Run a consistent photoperiod on a timer and watch the tank’s response over the first weeks, adjusting duration before you ever push intensity, to keep growth ahead of any algae.
See the full lighting range. Match it to plants with our planted-tank LED guide, and pair light with carbon using the CO2 guide.
