This Zetlight Qmaven II 160W LED 34.6″ Reef Aquarium Light is a 2nd generation Zetlight Qmaven Light. This 2nd generation Qmaven Light can be operated using the free Horizon app. The Horizon app allows users to customize the light’s power, daily schedules, and much more. In addition, the Horizon app is compatible with a wide range of other Zetlight skimmers, wavemakers, and dosing pumps.

Light dimensions: 23″ X 10.2 X 1.6″ High. Recommended for 24″ long reef tanks with hard and soft corals (up to 24 inches deep). For soft corals the tank can be deeper.
Mounting brackets included. The mounting brackets can be extended to accommodate tanks up to 35.4 inches. Hanging kit sold separately.

Running the ZETLIGHT QMAVEN II Fresh on a planted tank
Despite its reef heritage, the QMAVEN II Fresh is tuned for planted aquariums, and the Horizon app is where it shines for local hobbyists. You get independent control of the colour channels and multiple brightness periods across the day, so you can stage a soft morning, a bright midday peak, and a gentle evening wind-down. That kind of curve grows demanding stems and carpets while keeping the look natural in a condo living room.
With output this capable, the discipline in our climate is to avoid running it flat out for too long. We coach customers to build intensity over several weeks and hold a tight photoperiod, because algae establishes fast in warm 27-29C water. The same Horizon app also ties into Zetlight wavemakers and dosing gear, so if you scale up later your control stays in one place.
