Testing Singapore Tap Water
Understanding your source water is the foundation of good water management. PUB tap water in Singapore typically reads pH 7.0-7.5, GH 2-4, KH 1-3, ammonia 0, nitrite 0 and nitrate under 5 ppm. It is treated with chloramine rather than free chlorine, which API’s ammonia test will detect as a low positive reading if you test untreated tap water.
