ADA Pro-Pinsettes Grip Type M for planting rosette plants
These 260mm grip-type pinsettes are built for planting the chunkier rosette plants, with a wider, thicker tip that holds a thick stem or crown securely as you push it into the substrate. We recommend them especially for Cryptocoryne and Echinodorus, whose fleshy bases slip out of standard narrow tweezers. The extra length reaches comfortably to the substrate of a deeper tank, and the firmer grip means fewer replants and less disturbance to your aqua soil during setup.
For Singapore hobbyists planting newly arrived crypts and swords, a confident, clean insertion matters because rough handling and bruised roots make the inevitable post-transplant melt worse. We advise planting at a slight angle and releasing gently so you do not tear roots on withdrawal. Rinse and dry the stainless tips after each session, since our humidity encourages surface spotting on tools left damp on the bench.
