APT Feast’s high organic content enables faster rooting and microbial development. Its unique structure releases nutrients in an even, sustained manner over 12+ months. Good planting weight, with granules that hold their form without breaking down.

Compared to conventional ‘big brand’ aquasoils, APT Feast contains more than 2X the amount of Nitrogen (N), the most important macro nutrient. That is like having a 60,000 mAh powerbank instead of everybody else’s 30,000 mAh version.

APT Feast is a nutrient-rich active aquasoil built for demanding planted tanks, giving roots a sustained source of nutrition and helping plants establish quickly. As an active substrate it softens and gently acidifies the water column, which complements Singapore’s already soft tap water and creates conditions many stem plants, carpets, and soft-water species favour. We recommend it for keepers who want strong growth from day one rather than relying solely on liquid dosing.

Like all active soils, expect an initial ammonia release as it settles, so cycle the tank fully before adding livestock; in our warm 27-29C water this settling phase tends to move along briskly. Its bioactive support encourages healthy root development and microbial activity in the substrate. For the nano and mid-size scapes common in HDB and condo flats, a single bag often covers a full layout with sensible depth at the back.
