AF Ultrascrape L is made of durable materials, making it resistant to both fresh and salt water. The minimalistic purple shape of the cleaner guarantees comfort of use and a modern look.
The outer part has been secured with a soft material that allows you smooth sliding over the aquarium glass – free of scratches. The inner part is a rough fabric that will easily remove any dirt from the glass surface. A durable stainless steel blade eliminates even the most persistent dirt such as coralline algae. A high-quality blade is fully stainless and doesn’t dull, even if left in water for a long period. The large active surface of the cleaner makes using it extremely simple and effective. Strong magnets protect the inside against detaching from the glass. Even detached from the surface, the cleaner doesn’t sink, but floats on the surface of the water, enabling trouble-free installation in the aquarium again.

Spare blades for the AF Ultrascrape L/AF Ultrascrape XL cleaners are made of the highest quality stainless steel. They guarantee long term usage of the cleaner and safety for the aquarium inhabitants.
Although the blades used in Aquaforest cleaners are highly durable and long lasting, normal wear and tear can cause the need of replacing the blade. In such situation, replacing the blade allows enjoying the trouble-free operation of the cleaner again.
The materials used for the production of replacement blades have been selected to ensure maximum resistance to both fresh and salt water. Even left in the water, blades don’t rust or dull, so they maintain their effectiveness for a very long time.
Replacing the blades is very simple and doesn’t require interfering in the construction of the AF Ultrascrape L/AF Ultrascrape XL cleaner. The blades are mounted in a specially prepared cavity, from which the old blade can be easily removed and replaced. We recommend that you replace the blade when you notice reduced cleaning efficiency.
