The biOrb Sea Star Rock Ornament as a tube cover

One of the smarter features of this Sea Star Rock piece is the opening underneath, which lets it slide over the biOrb’s central bubble tube and hide that bare plastic stem most owners dislike. It turns a purely functional part of the tank into a focal point, and as a 360-degree sculpture it looks intentional from every seat in an open-plan HDB living room or office. The resin construction stays put and resists fading under bright tropical daylight.

Slip it over the tube before filling, or carefully during a water change while the level is low. In our warm tanks, fine algae and biofilm will eventually dust any surface near the airstream, so plan to lift and rinse it during routine maintenance. Avoid abrasive pads near it, since stray grit can scratch the surrounding acrylic globe and leave permanent cloudiness.
