CaribSea LifeRock is made of an aragonitic base rock, instead of the typical cement used by many other artificial rock creators. Every rock contains a network of micro and macro pores that intertwine within the rocks internal structure creating the perfect environment for natural nitrifying bacteria. LifeRock is manmade and does not affect our natural resources, making it the perfect option for all marine fish, invertebrates, and corals.

This 2.25 box of rubble-sized FragZone LifeRock is one of those quietly useful products that solves a real problem for Singapore reefers: where to grow out frags without gluing them straight onto your main rockwork. The small pieces give each coral its own movable base, so you can reposition, trade, or sell frags without disturbing the display. They blend seamlessly with your existing LifeRock structures because they share the same aragonite body and coralline-mimicking texture.
Frag rubble also works well scattered across a low-flow shelf or a section of the sand bed, letting you cluster encrusting softies and SPS frags in a controlled grow-out zone. As seeded aragonite rock it adds biological surface area too, supporting the tank’s filtration. In a compact HDB or condo reef where main rock space is precious, a dedicated frag zone keeps your aquascape tidy and intentional.
