Running the Hailea ACO-9610 4-Outlet Air Pump in Singapore
A four-outlet pump like this earns its keep in a busy Singapore fish room, where one unit can drive air to several tanks at once without daisy-chaining splitters off a single port. We see it most often feeding sponge filters, air-driven box filters and a line of fry tanks on a single shelf. The four individually-valved outlets let you balance bubble rate per tank, so a delicate shrimp grow-out gets a gentle trickle while a heavily-stocked grow-out runs harder.
Because our tanks sit at 27-29C year-round, oxygen solubility is naturally lower than in cooler climates, so steady aeration matters more here than many hobbyists assume. Position the pump above your highest water line, or fit a check valve on each line, to stop back-siphoning during a power blip. Rubber feet help, but standing it on a foam pad or inside a cabinet further dampens the hum in a quiet HDB living room or bedroom setup.
