Jeneca AP-8801/8803/8804 Air Pumps: Quiet, Low-Draw Aeration
This trio sits at the gentle, energy-sipping end of the range, which suits the kind of setups we see most often in Singapore flats: betta tanks, small community tanks and shrimp jars where you want oxygen without a roaring current. The single-outlet 8801 is plenty for one nano tank, while the double-outlet models let you drive a sponge filter and an airstone, or feed two tanks from a single point on a shelf.
Because these draw very little wattage, they are cheap to run around the clock through our warm year. That continuous gas exchange is exactly what tropical fish need when room temperatures hover near 28C and oxygen solubility falls. We still suggest a check valve on every line, since monsoon-season power flickers can briefly stop the pump and let water creep back up the tubing toward the motor.
Keep the foam intake clean and the diaphragm will last longer. Browse our full air systems selection, and see our oxygenation guide plus airstone guide to dial in bubble size and flow for your fish.
