Angel Aqua DY-105 Ball Air Stone for Aquariums

The DY-105 ball is the most versatile shape in the Angel Aqua range, with four diameters from a tiny 20mm bead up to a 50mm sphere. Its rounded body throws bubbles in all directions at once, making it ideal for tucking into a corner or dropping into a bucket, holding tank or shipping container. Fired from AL2O3 ceramic, it produces a fine, consistent bubble stream that dissolves oxygen efficiently rather than blowing big, lazy bubbles straight to the surface.

For Singapore hobbyists, the small balls are perfect companions to nano and HDB-friendly tanks where space is tight but oxygen still matters at our warm 27-29C water temperatures. The larger balls suit quarantine vats and temporary holding setups when you bring home new stock. Because the shape sinks and stays put, it is also handy during a monsoon power-cut scenario when paired with a battery pump. Rinse the ceramic occasionally to keep the pores open and the bubbles fine.
