NF Air Curtain for Even Aeration

The NF Air Curtain produces a long wall of rising bubbles rather than a single point of aeration, and it comes in lengths from 20cm right up to 120cm to suit tanks of almost any size. We like it both for the practical boost to surface agitation and gas exchange and for the visual effect of a shimmering bubble wall, which many keepers run on a timer for evening viewing in a feature tank.

Aeration is more important here than many newcomers expect. Our 27-29C water holds less dissolved oxygen than cooler tanks, so a long air curtain spread across the back of a densely stocked or heavily planted tank helps keep oxygen stable, particularly overnight when plants consume rather than produce it. Paired with a backup air source, it also buys time during Singapore’s occasional monsoon-season power outages.
