Description

Pro-Scissors are professional model of the trimming scissors. By getting both Pro-Scissors and Trimming Scissors lined up, it is possible to deal with the various layout style trimming. Two sizes, M and L are available. They are longer than Trimming Scissors and good for deepwater, large size tank.355mm

ADA Pro-Scissors L for Deep and Large SG Tanks

At 355mm the Pro-Scissors L is made for reaching into deepwater layouts and the larger 3 to 4 foot tanks some Singapore hobbyists run in landed homes and bigger condos. The extra length lets you trim stem plants at the substrate without plunging your arm to the shoulder, keeping your shirt dry and your hardscape undisturbed. We favour it for grooming background Rotala and Ludwigia thickets that fill in fast in our warm, bright tanks.

The longer blade rewards a steady hand, so trim in deliberate passes and let the plant tops float up before you net them out. Mind floor loading on upper-storey HDB and condo units when you scale up tank size, since water weight adds quickly. After trimming, rinse and dry the steel, as our year-round humidity will spot any tool stored wet.
