ADA Pro-Scissors Spring Straight for Fine Nano Trimming

The straight-type Pro-Scissors Spring is a 160mm precision tool ideal for trimming Eleocharis hairgrass and individual Echinodorus tenellus runners in small Singapore aquascapes. The straight blade gives clean vertical snips through fine carpet stems, while the spring action reopens the blades automatically so detailed, repetitive trimming stays comfortable over a long grooming session. We reach for the straight type when thinning a dense hairgrass lawn that has thickened in our warm water.

Work in small, deliberate cuts close to the substrate to keep a carpet level, and lift the trimmings out promptly before they rot in the warm column. The compact length gives excellent control in the nano cubes and shrimp tanks that suit space-limited HDB and condo homes. After each use, rinse and fully dry the blades and spring, since our humidity will otherwise stiffen and spot the fine mechanism.
