Feeding DIS Betta Special in Singapore

DIS Betta Special is a high-protein formula in tiny 1mm pellets sized for a betta’s small mouth, with colour-supporting ingredients to bring out natural reds, blues and metallics. It works across the popular varieties local hobbyists keep, including plakat, halfmoon and wild types.

The main thing in our climate is restraint. Warm 27–29°C water speeds a betta’s metabolism but also accelerates how fast uneaten food fouls a small, often unfiltered container, so feed only a few pellets at a time and skip the occasional day. Watch each pellet get taken before adding more, and remove anything left over promptly. This keeps water cleaner, reduces algae triggers, and helps avoid the bloating that overfeeding causes in these small fish.
