biOrb Ambulia Grey/Green: Easy Background Greenery

Modelled on the feathery Asian marshweed, this pair of artificial ambulia plants gives a biOrb instant height and a soft, planted look without any of the lighting or fertiliser demands of the living version. The cool grey-green finish reads as contemporary rather than gaudy, sitting well against the brushed metal and natural stone many Singapore homes favour. As background foliage near the bubble tube, it does a lot of visual work for very little effort.

Because it is moulded plastic, it suits freshwater, tropical and saltwater biOrb set-ups equally, and it will not melt back in our warm water the way some delicate stems can. We like it for owners with HDB or condo nano tanks who want greenery but travel often or simply prefer low fuss. A quick swish in old tank water during a water change keeps algae and detritus from building up on the fronds.
