biOrb Aquatic Color Ball 3-Pack for low-maintenance colour

This three-pack of weighted plastic plant balls, in purple, orange and red, is an easy way to add a pop of colour to a biOrb without taking on live plants. The ceramic weight on one side lets each ball nestle straight into the media on the base of the tank, so they sit naturally rather than drifting, and at 6cm tall they suit the smaller round and cube biOrbs popular in HDB and condo homes. They work in any aquarium, not just biOrb systems.

For busy keepers, or anyone setting up a low-tech display, the appeal is simple: no lighting demands, no trimming, and no melting. That suits our warm tanks where live colour plants often need strong light and CO2 to hold their tone. When algae settles on the leaves, as it tends to in our climate, you just lift the balls out and rinse them clean before dropping them back into place.
