biOrb Bubble Tube Guard: Protecting Curious Fish and Shrimp

The bubble tube is the heart of a biOrb’s filtration, but its open top is also a hazard. This clear guard caps the tube so inquisitive fish, shrimp and stray bits of decor cannot drop inside and get drawn down toward the pump. Small holes in the cap let the bubbles escape freely, so you keep all the aeration and circulation the system relies on while closing off the entry point.

If you keep shrimp or small, exploratory fish in a Singapore nano tank, this is one of those inexpensive parts that quietly prevents a heartbreak. Shrimp in particular wander everywhere and will find the tube opening eventually. The guard clips on securely and is genuinely simple to fit, taking moments during a routine clean, and it lifts off just as easily when you need to service the tube or media.
