biOrb Shell on Bark Ornament in white

This white Shell on Bark piece is another of biOrb’s tube-cover sculptures, with an opening at the base that slides over the central air tube to disguise it while serving as a decorative focal point. As a 360-degree design it looks deliberate from every viewing angle, which suits the open positioning a biOrb often gets on an HDB sideboard or office reception counter. The bright white finish keeps a small tank feeling clean and airy rather than cluttered.

Fit it over the tube before you fill, or during a water change with the level lowered. White surfaces show biofilm and the early green tint of algae sooner than darker pieces, and in our warm tanks that buildup arrives quickly, so plan to lift and rinse it regularly to keep it looking crisp. Use only soft cleaning to avoid carrying grit against the acrylic globe.
