Jeneca DF-1516 / DF-1526 Breeder Box for Fry and Sick Fish

A breeder box hangs inside your main tank and shares its water, which is exactly why it works so well for Singapore hobbyists short on space. Instead of running a separate heated tank for a batch of guppy or molly fry, you let the parent tank’s warmth and filtration do the work while the box keeps the small ones safe. The wider DF-1526 gives more room for a larger spawn or a recovering fish that needs separating from tank-mates.

Because the box draws from your established tank, water parameters and that comfortable 27-29C temperature stay consistent for delicate fry, with no extra heater needed. It is also handy for isolating a nippy fish, acclimating a new arrival, or protecting shrimplets from hungry adults. We suggest gentle aeration inside the box, since a confined volume in our warm water can run low on oxygen.
