The CADE Reef S2 Classic 1200 for Singapore Reefers
The CADE Reef S2 Classic 1200 is a rimless, sump-filtered saltwater system aimed at the advanced reef aquarist who wants to build a personalised set-up. At 120cm long, 70cm deep and 60cm tall, the Opti-Clear glass and clean silicone lines make it a genuine display piece that suits a contemporary living room, while the integrated overflow and sump plumbing give you room to add skimming, dosing and reactors as your reef matures.
For a reef this size in Singapore, two practical points matter most. First, weight: a filled system with rock and cabinet is heavy, so site it over a load-bearing wall and use the matched CADE cabinet to distribute the load on HDB or condo floors. Second, heat and stability: our high ambient temperatures push reef tanks warm, so plan for a chiller, and given monsoon-season outages, a battery backup for return and circulation pumps is worth budgeting for.
See matching options in our cabinets and stands range. Plan your build with our reef tank setup for HDB Singapore guide and reef sump design guide, and size cooling via our marine chiller guide.
