The CADE Reef S2 Classic 1800 for Singapore Reefers

The 180cm Classic 1800 is the largest in the standard Reef S2 line, and it’s a statement display that demands planning before delivery day. A system this size, filled with water, rock, sump and cabinet, runs into very heavy territory, so we always advise siting it over a load-bearing wall in your HDB or condo and confirming the access route, lifts and corridors will take the cabinet and tank as separate pieces.

CADE’s all-waterproof aluminium and glass cabinet is built for exactly the humidity and occasional spills our climate throws at a reef, and the 700mm depth leaves room for a chiller, which is non-negotiable here given our 27-29C ambient. The concealed weir and screw-fit plumbing keep the install quiet and clean, while the side controller bay keeps electronics dry and accessible.
