The CADE Reef S2 Frag 600 for Singapore Coral Growers
The CADE Reef S2 Frag 600 is purpose-built as a frag and grow-out system, with a shallow 35cm height over a 60cm by 70cm footprint that puts corals close to the light for fast, even growth. The wide, low profile is ideal for laying out frag racks and watching colonies develop, and the same rimless Opti-Clear construction and sump plumbing as the Classic range mean it integrates cleanly into a serious reef set-up or runs as a dedicated propagation station.
Shallow tanks heat up quickly under reef lighting, and in our warm climate that makes temperature control the key consideration; a chiller and good surface movement help hold frags in a stable band. The shallow water column also means strong light reaches the bottom easily, so dial back PAR to avoid bleaching newly cut frags. The matched cabinet hides the sump and spreads the load on HDB or condo floors.
