The CADE Reef S2 Peninsula 1200 in Singapore Homes

The Peninsula format is one we recommend a lot for local layouts, because a 120cm tank viewable from three sides works beautifully as a room divider in an open-plan condo or a larger HDB living-dining space. The S2/P keeps the weir and water management concealed at one end, so you get clean glass on the long viewing sides rather than a plumbing wall blocking the view.

As with any reef this size here, plan the load and the chiller early: a filled 1200 system is heavy enough to warrant positioning over solid support, and our 27-29C ambient means active cooling in the cabinet’s chiller bay is essential to hold a stable reef temperature. The waterproof aluminium and glass cabinet handles our humidity and the inevitable salt creep without deteriorating.
