The HR-180 is a compact 18.3cm all-in-one desktop tank with an internal light and filter already built in, sold here as the tank unit in black or white. For HDB and condo dwellers tight on space, this is an easy first nano: it sits on a desk or shelf, the ventilation slits stop heat building inside the hood, and there is no separate filter or light to source and wire up. The small footprint also means negligible floor-loading concerns.
A tank this size suits a single betta, a small shrimp colony or a tiny nano community, though stocking must stay light because small water volumes swing in temperature and water quality quickly. In our climate it usually runs heaterless at ambient 27-29C. Keep the water above the pump’s minimum level indicator as noted, cycle it before adding livestock, and do small frequent water changes to keep parameters stable in the limited volume.
