ADA Pro Razor Extender

Description

This is a scraper to remove algae on the aquarium glass surface. Its handle can be extended with an optional Extender for the use in a large size tank. Also, Pro Razor Mini is for small tank and narrow space of aquarium. The replacement of blade is necessary once it is getting hard to remove algae.

ADA Pro Razor Extender for tall tanks

The Pro Razor Extender adds reach to your ADA Pro Razor, turning it into a tool that comfortably scrapes the lower glass of a tall or large display without you plunging your arm to the shoulder. For Singapore hobbyists running deep nature-aquarium tanks, that extra length keeps maintenance quick and dry, letting you shear algae off the bottom panes and back corners that are otherwise an awkward stretch from above the rim.

We find the Extender especially handy on tanks tucked into a tight HDB or condo corner, where you cannot easily reach in from the side and have to work from the top. Keep the blade sharp so the longer lever still cuts cleanly rather than dragging, since a dull edge at arm’s length is what scratches glass. As always, this is for glass tanks only, never acrylic, and mind the silicone seams as you scrape.
