This flexible double-ended brush is made to scrub out the soft tubing and glass pipework on canister filters running the common 13mm and 17mm sizes. Over time a film of bacterial slime and detritus builds up inside hoses and lily pipes, quietly choking flow until your filter output drops noticeably. A long flexi brush is the only practical way to reach through a curved run and clear that gunk without disconnecting and replacing the whole hose.

The double brush head cleans both soft tubes and rigid glass or acrylic pipes, so one tool covers your inflow and outflow. In our warm, humid climate that internal biofilm grows quickly, so working the brush through during a routine water change keeps flow strong and your CO2 and surface skimming performing as designed. Feed it through gently, twisting as you go, and rinse the bristles afterwards so you are not pushing old debris back in next time.
