Water changes made easy with the ANS Siphon Cleaner Multi 1.5M

This siphon pairs a hand-priming pump with 1.5m of tubing so you can start the flow without the old mouth-suck trick and reach a tank set on a tall cabinet. The gravel vacuum end lets you draw out detritus that settles into substrate, the mulm that drives nitrate up between changes. For most HDB and condo setups, 1.5m comfortably reaches a nearby sink or bucket on the floor.

Regular water changes are the single most effective thing you can do for fish health, and in our warm tanks where waste processes quickly, a weekly siphon keeps parameters steady. Remember to dechlorinate the replacement water, as Singapore tap is chloraminated and needs a conditioner that neutralises chloramine, not just chlorine. The pump primes cleanly each time so the whole job takes minutes.
