The ISTA CO2 Air Pipe Holder for Planted Tanks
This small accessory does one job well: it holds your CO2 or air pipe in place so the tubing does not kink, sag or bend sharply where it enters the tank. We find it especially useful with the rigid glass and acrylic tubing common in planted aquascapes, where a tight bend can restrict flow or, worse, snap a glass diffuser line. It can be used on its own or clipped to the glass wall.
Neat tube routing matters more in compact Singapore setups, where tanks sit close to walls and furniture and a stray loop of CO2 line quickly looks messy or gets snagged during maintenance. Keeping the pipe gently curved also protects the silicone or plastic from stress cracks that develop over time, which is the sort of small failure that lets CO2 leak unnoticed.
