UP AQUA G-308 Siphon Basket (Grenade) for Targeted Gravel Cleaning

The G-308 is the intake basket that screws onto the end of a siphon, with its grenade-style cage letting water draw through while keeping fish, shrimp and larger debris from being sucked up. It connects to standard PVC fittings, 90-degree elbows and various three-point connectors, so you can build a maintenance siphon to whatever length and shape your tank needs. It is a practical upgrade for anyone doing weekly water changes.

The guard makes a real difference in shrimp and fry tanks, where an open hose can quickly cost you livestock. For deep-substrate planted tanks, the basket lets you vacuum mulm from the surface layer without churning up nutrient-rich aquasoil underneath.
