The 50Ø Beetle is the largest in the line and the one we point big-tank owners toward for 120 to 180cm planted displays. Its broad ceramic plate generates a heavy fine mist to satisfy the considerable CO2 demand of a fully planted tank at this scale. The corner-mount form keeps the diffuser discreet, and on a long footprint we often suggest running two units in opposite corners so the mist reaches plants at both ends rather than thinning out far from a single source.

Tanks this size run powerful regulators, so a quality check valve is non-negotiable to protect your equipment from back-siphon. Pair it with a drop checker to keep levels safe for fish, since over-injecting a large volume can crash oxygen fast. Ceramic plates clog with biofilm and minerals in our warm water, so build a soak into your maintenance cycle, and always handle the glass gently.
