Description

TYPE-3 has the same diffusing ability as the original and TYPE-2, but it’s with a new design. Silicon tube connecting part is in upright position, and it can be connected without bending the tube.

The Pollen Glass Type-3 keeps the proven diffusing performance of the original while reworking the connection point. Its silicon tube fitting sits in an upright position, so the CO2 line attaches without an awkward bend that can kink and choke flow. For Singapore aquascapers who like a tidy back wall and reliable bubble delivery, that straight-up connection is a small but genuinely useful refinement that makes setup and tube routing cleaner behind the tank.

The diffusion itself comes from a ceramic plate that turns gas into fine mist for efficient dissolving into the water column. As with every ceramic diffuser, biofilm and mineral scale build up, and our warm 27 to 29C tanks speed that along, so a periodic soak keeps the bubbles fine and the back-pressure low. The glass is delicate, so handle it carefully when removing it for cleaning, and always run a check valve to protect your regulator.
