ANS Opti Glass CO2 Diffuser Spiral for Planted Tanks

The spiral design routes CO2 through a long, coiled path so bubbles spend more time in contact with water before they reach the ceramic plate, helping more gas dissolve as a fine mist. It is a tidy, glass-clean way to inject CO2 into a planted display and pairs with a standard regulator setup. We like the spiral for medium tanks where you want efficient diffusion without an inline reactor, and the clear Opti glass keeps the look minimal in a show scape.

Mount it low and on the opposite side from your flow outlet so the mist circulates through the whole tank before surfacing. As with any ceramic diffuser, the plate gradually clogs, and our warm water speeds algae growth on the glass, so a regular soak in diffuser cleaner keeps the bubbles fine. Build your bubble rate up slowly toward a drop-checker target and watch fish closely, since warm water carries less oxygen.
