Using the DOOA CO2 Count Diffuser in a Singapore nano scape

This integrated diffuser combines the bubble counter and ceramic disc in one unit, which is exactly what we recommend for small DOOA-style nano tanks and shrimp-friendly scapes where cabinet and tank space is tight in HDB and condo homes. The Ø15 design fits standard silicone tubing without awkward bends, so installation stays clean against the glass and there is one less external counter to mount under a compact rimless tank.

Run it on a solenoid timed to switch on an hour before lights and off before lights-out, and dial in the bubble rate slowly while watching a drop checker. Our local tap water is soft with low KH, so CO2 can swing pH quickly; start conservatively and increase a bubble at a time over several days. A fine, even mist of bubbles from the ceramic disc tells you the diffuser is seated and working.
