Description

The Qanvee CO2 atomizer will provide extremely fine dissolution of CO2 in the aquarium’s water column, making it readily available to be absorbed by aquatic plants. Small and sleek, the Qanvee CO2 atomizer comes completely apart easily for routine maintenance and cleaning. This inline aquarium CO2 diffuser that is designed to be installed outside of the planted tank rather than being placed inside the aquarium. It will keep your aquarium much cleaner and free of additional equipment visible inside the planted tank.
Simply attach the Qanvee CO2 atomizer to the outflow tubing of a canister filter.

Qanvee Inline CO2 Diffuser (12mm / 16mm)

This inline diffuser fits into the outflow tubing of your canister filter, dissolving CO2 into the return stream before it re-enters the tank. The big advantage is a clean scape: there is no ceramic disc, suction cups or bubble haze cluttering the glass, just a fine mist of CO2 carried in on the current. We recommend it for planted-tank keepers who want the densest dissolution and the tidiest display, especially in show aquascapes where visible hardware spoils the look.

Choose the 12mm or 16mm version to match your canister’s hose diameter so it seats properly without leaks. Like any fine diffuser it benefits from periodic cleaning to keep the membrane passing gas freely. Dial in your CO2 gradually and watch your livestock; in our warm 27 to 29 degree water, oxygen holds less readily, so run an air stone or surface agitation overnight when CO2 is off to keep fish and shrimp comfortable.
