Chlor-Off is a chlorine neutraliser that makes tap-water changes safe for fish and other aquatic life. This matters a great deal in Singapore, where our treated tap water carries residual disinfectant that is harmful to fish, shrimp and beneficial bacteria if added straight to the tank. A capful-level dose at each water change neutralises that residual chlorine instantly, so you can refill without the long ageing or aeration that untreated water would need.

We always advise locals to dechlorinate every top-up and water change, because our utilities use chloramine as well as chlorine, and chloramine does not simply gas off if you leave water to sit overnight. Dosing a conditioner like Chlor-Off handles the chlorine portion at the moment of refill, keeping your filter colony and livestock protected. Match temperature too, since our taps can run cool against a warm 27-29C tank.
