Description

API® E.M. ERYTHROMYCIN fish remedy helps broad spectrum treatment and control of bacterial disease, such as body slime, mouth fungus, Furunculosis (open lesions and swelling), bacterial gill disease and hemorrhagic septicemia (blood spots without sign of skin damage). For use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums. Can be used with any API Ich, fungus or parasite remedy to help prevent secondary bacterial infection. This fish remedy will not color the aquarium water.

API E.M. Erythromycin for SG Aquarium Bacterial Issues

API E.M. Erythromycin comes in pre-measured powder packets aimed at gram-positive bacterial problems and is also reached for by planted-tank keepers tackling stubborn cyanobacteria. In Singapore’s warm tanks, biological filters work hard, and antibiotics can knock back beneficial bacteria too, so we always tell customers to test water before and after dosing and to keep up gentle aeration through the course.

Because each packet is dosed by volume, it suits the modestly sized tanks common in local flats, you simply scale to your litres. We don’t recommend it as a routine additive; it’s a targeted tool for a diagnosed problem. Treating in a separate hospital tank, where practical, protects your display’s cycle and your shrimp or sensitive species, and it lets you run a full course without re-dosing a large planted display.
