API® PIMAFIX fish remedy is an all-natural, antifungal remedy for fish fungal infections, with a formula derived from the West Indian Bay Tree – a proven natural antifungal. API PIMAFIX fish remedy rapidly treats cottony growth, mouth, body fungus, and the reddening of the fins and body, in addition to both internal and external bacterial infections.
API PIMAFIX fish remedy will not adversely affect the biological filter, alter pH, or discolor water, and has been formulated to use in conjunction with MELAFIX™ fish remedy to enhance effectiveness against fish diseases.

API PIMAFIX for Fungal Issues in SG Aquariums
PIMAFIX is a West Indian Bay Tree-derived remedy aimed at fungal problems, the cottony growths and body or mouth fungus that can appear when fish are stressed or injured. In Singapore’s warm tanks, fungus often follows on from an existing wound or poor water quality, so we treat PIMAFIX as part of a recovery plan rather than a standalone fix. Many keepers run it alongside MELAFIX for combined antibacterial and antifungal coverage.
As with other botanical remedies, keep surface agitation strong throughout the course, since these formulas can lower oxygen exchange and our warm water already holds less dissolved oxygen than cooler climates. Remove activated carbon while dosing so it doesn’t strip the active ingredient, and keep up your normal water changes to support healing. It’s reef-safe in dosing terms for freshwater stock and won’t crash an established biological filter at label rates.
