HOW IS APT DIFFERENT?
Real results.
Plants grown the 2Hr WayTM using APT display a unique richness and form.
We developed APT because we could not find any existing product that met our needs.
I DON’T NEED SUCH POWER?
Even for the simplest tank, good plant health helps prevent algae and keep fish happy.
APT ensures your plants get 100% of what they need.
Healthy plants, happy fish, algae-free.
I’M HAPPY WITH MY EXISTING FERT!
Sure thing!
As aquarists ourselves, we say ‘whatever works’.
The right performance fuel just makes it easier and (we find) a lot more exciting.
REALLY 3X SAVINGS?
APT Complete contains the 3 macro nutrients Nitrogen(N), Phosphorus(P), Potassium(K) + Iron(Fe)
+ Essential Trace Minerals. Importantly, in the right amounts.
You can buy these 5 individual components (e.g. Potassium) for around US$15 each.
5 x $15 = $75.
TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!
We are the first to say that a super fert by itself cannot deliver a dream tank.
Good flow, bio-filtration, the right plant mix, water parameters etc. all matter.
That is why we pair it with the internet’s most comprehensive resource on planted tanks, right here.
APT 1 by The 2Hr Aquarist for Everyday SG Planted Tanks
APT 1 is the variant we suggest for planted tanks that carry a heavier fish load, where the livestock already contributes nitrogen and you want a balanced all-in-one to top up the rest. Made by Singapore’s own 2Hr Aquarist, it bundles macros, micros, iron and traces in a single bottle, which keeps dosing simple for community keepers who would rather enjoy the tank than manage a shelf of separate additives. It suits both casual and moderately demanding layouts.
In our warm local conditions plants take up nutrients briskly, so consistent small doses beat occasional large ones. Begin at the label rate, watch new leaves over a week or two, and lean on regular water changes with our soft tap to keep things stable. Because it is formulated for tanks with more fish, you can usually run it a touch leaner than a sparsely stocked aquascape would need.
See our full conditioners and treatments range, and read our fertiliser and EI dosing guide with our plant deficiency guide to dial it in.
