Dosing APT Complete in Singapore Planted Tanks

APT Complete is the all-in-one fertiliser we most often recommend to local aquascapers who want strong colour and form without juggling separate macro and micro bottles. Developed by The 2Hr Aquarist, a Singapore-born brand, it carries nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, iron and traces in one bottle, which suits the compact CO2-injected display tanks that fit comfortably in an HDB living room. It rewards a clean tank with good flow and consistent dosing more than heavy-handed overdosing.

Because our tanks run warm at 27-29C, plant metabolism is brisk, so steady daily or four-times-weekly dosing keeps nutrients available without big swings. Start at the labelled rate, observe new growth over a fortnight, and adjust only if you see deficiency in older leaves or excess feeding algae. Pair it with good surface agitation, since warm water holds less oxygen and stable conditions matter for both plants and livestock.
